Film Industry Experience
Our founder is a seasoned 1st Assistant Accountant with a knack for navigating diverse productions in Toronto. She's well-versed in the ins and outs of film workflows—knowing exactly how your accounting team prefers their paperwork and how to keep pace with those whirlwind production schedules.
Production Knowledge
Pro at handling accounts payable for top-tier studios; we could do it in our sleep, but where’s the fun in that?
Paperwork
Skilled in managing POs, invoices, cash handling, petty cash, and reconciliations—basically, a financial superhero!
Team
We know how to engage your accounting team and knock their socks off.
How we get started:
Introductions
Once you fill out our new client questionnaire, we'll be in touch to arrange a meeting with our founder —don't worry, we don't bite!
Proposal
Once you give us the thumbs up on our proposal, we'll kick off the onboarding process and roll out the welcome mat to your client portal.
Tech Set-Up
We’ll adjust your tech stack as needed and ensure we’ve got access to everything—just like an IT ninja!
Clean-Up
Should the situation demand, we might propose a one-time cleanup—think of it as a spring cleaning for your books!
Production Info
We reach out to your accounting team, gaining access to forms, production's billing entity and logins for cashet/PO's if needed.
Pivot
We ensure all petty cash, cashet and invoicing is complete by your wrap date. And then we pivot to your next production, or pause film services if needed.
Basically, we set you up with recurring monthly bookkeeping. When you are working on a production, we add on 'film services' and bill weekly while you are on a production. You let us know when you need us to start, and our final billing date will be your wrap date. All while continuing to do your regular monthly bookkeeping. It's kind of like having your own personal tracker.
